DICE Accelerator Pilots: Supporting Communities Through Digital Engagement Clone

The DICE Accelerator pilot phase is officially underway! As part of this exciting stage, students and educators from UAH (Spain), TUKE (Slovakia), and UIL (Italy) are integrating digital community engagement methodologies into their courses. Through a series of hands-on initiatives, they are applying their skills to address real-world challenges while strengthening the connection between universities and society.

These are some of the initiatives that are currently being developed as part of the pilot:

  • Local Business Marketing Support – Students are working directly with small businesses in their local communities to enhance their digital marketing strategies. By using digital tools, they are helping these businesses improve their online presence, branding, and customer engagement, bridging the gap between education and economic development.
  • Multimedia Content for the IUL Virtual Incubator – Students are creating digital campaigns and audiovisual materials to support startups from the IUL Virtual Incubator. These startups focus on sustainability and education, and the digital content produced will help them increase visibility and impact.
  • Awareness Campaign on Chemical Submission – In an effort to promote safety among young people, students are developing digital materials for a prevention and awareness campaign on chemical submission. This initiative demonstrates the power of digital tools in spreading knowledge and encouraging responsible behaviors.

These activities highlight the transformative potential of digital engagement in empowering students, strengthening community ties, and addressing societal needs. As the pilot progresses, the DICE Project will continue to gather insights and best practices to further develop its Digital Accelerator methodology.

Stay tuned for more updates on the impact of these initiatives!
